The Master's College's Tyler Diamond, the former Oxnard College and Royal High catcher from Simi Valley, was named to the All-Golden State Athletic Conference team.

Diamond won the job behind the plate during the season's first week and quickly established himself as the conference's premier catcher. He led the club in seven offensive categories, including hits (69), home runs (11), RBIs (47), total bases (124) and slugging percentage (.649).

Diamond had 23 multi-hit games and drove in two or more runs 14 times, highlighted by a season-high five RBIs against Westmont in April 9 when he hit two homers.

Despite missing out on the postseason, Joe Zeller and Tim Woodward were all-conference as the Mustangs finished 30-19, their first 30-win season in eight years.
